Registration begins on February 1 and ends on March 22, 2020.

Applications must be received by March 22, 2020 to be considered. To register, please use the Online system of the Center for the Greek Language.

Alternatively print out the following documents and mail them to our office with your payment:

  • Application form and Information:

  • A photocopy of an identification document (passport or driver’s license)
    certified by a Notary Public or by a Greek Orthodox Parish Priest.
  • A check payable to The Regents of the University of California
    (see fee schedule below).

2020 Examination Fees

    $ 100 for level A1 (children and adults)

    $ 100 for level A 2

    $ 110 for level B 1

    $ 120 for level B 2

    $ 120 for level Γ1

    $ 120 for level Γ2

Choosing the appropriate level

Center for the Greek Language (CGL)

The Center for the Greek Language has been assigned the exclusive responsibility of administring the Examination. Before choosing the appropriate level of examination, candidates may consult either their instructor and the samples and all relevant material uploaded on the respective website
